I think if I had stopped this might have been avoided - I hope I am now not too dog phobic to try that in the future. It came out of nowhere very suddenly and there was no time to get off my bike and put it between me and the dog. It seemed pretty ferocious and for a half a second I panicked. Then I yelled at it to go away and immediately it put it's head and tail down and walked away. I was so glad that I had read this so I knew what to do. Thanks! Thanks for this article.
